SQAS
SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) is a European Chemical Industry Association norm . It serves to evaluate quality, safety and environmental impact for logistic service providers.
Development
1994 saw the first evaluation system in the dangerous goods sector for logistic service providers. Packaged Warehouse and
Distribution are now also evaluated using SQAS, not only the underlying Transport Service.
